The team Propulsion Quality within the department Quality and Hybrid Propulsion is a global quality team with the purpose of reducing customer defects due to poor quality. By early detection and customer feedback we ensure quick & efficient resolution in close collaboration with Solution/ART, Service Business, Sales regions, and Plant Quality. We create prerequisites to define and understand customer symptom when defect occurs. Our goal is always to respond with honesty, clarity, quick & efficient resolutions.
What you will do
We are now looking to strengthen our team with a SW Responsible/Coordinator. The job is highly diversified with many different tasks where project management is key.
To describe the work, following tasks can be mentioned:
* Release of SW and documentation in the VCC systems
* Manage introduction of SWs within the team and towards other interfaces within VCC
* Responsible for quality assurance of the SW to meet VCC standards
* Coordinate communication between Calibration team, Electrical release arena, Certification, After market and suppliers.
* Develop process, methods, and tools to further improve your way of working
As a member of our agile team, you will get a strong understanding and knowledge about propulsion and electrical development within Volvo Cars. The extensive network will diversify your tasks and is a challenge that will give you a great room for professional development.
You and your skills
We see that you have a Master of Science within mechatronics, electric or similar competence. You have experience in vehicle development and are used to work with agile methods and in agile teams. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken and have driving license (type B).
Meritorious
Experience from VCC Product Development and SW engineering within automotive development. We would also appreciate project management experience and if you have practiced as Scrum Master or Product Owner.
