SW Test Architect - Unit Vehicle Platform

What you’ll do
You will work within the unit Vehicle Platform that develops hardware, software and mechatronic systems for our cars. The unit consists of five engineering departments: Climate, Deceleration & Steering, Painted Body, Side & Roof and Body Control & Road Contact. We also have two departments supporting the five engineering departments: Strategy & Program and Quality & Operations.
As a Software Test Architect at Vehicle Platform you will be part of the department management team at Quality & Operations working closely with the engineering departments, but also with the other units within R&D. You will be the unit representative in strategic software testing cross functional work and be an important contributor to supporting the company strategy of inhouse SW development.

As a SW Test Architect, you will:
·        Have the responsibility for setting-up SW test strategies and processes for in-house development and suppliers
·        Coach and be a mentor where needed
·        Set KPI’s and follow progress
·        Work with the Teams and provide quality and flow trade-offs concerning system, function, module, component and interface testing
·        Supervise and foster Built-In Quality, e.g support testable architectural solutions

What you‘ll bring
We believe you have a University Degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience from the automotive industry, including solid knowledge in software development, testing, test strategies and quality assurance. We see you have a proven history of leading change, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration / Delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. You are fluent in spoken and written English and possess great communication skills. 

To succeed in this role we further believe you need to be excited about people and about developing their skills within your area of expertise. You also need to be structured and like to continuously improve current working processes. As a person, you work with a high level of engagement and a strong enthusiasm with patience and a willingness to reach the goals.
