Test and proto operations Braås (TnPo) is a part of TnPO Global, a worldwide organization within Volvo responsible for testing and verification. In Braås, situated 30 km north of Växjö, we have 18 test engineers divided into two different departments. HW hardware testing and SW/RG software testing/reliability growth. We are responsible for testing and verification of Articulated Haulers. We work with both components and complete machines.
Volvo is world leading in Articulated haulers. To maintain and strengthen our position we are constantly developing our products, testing and verification is a vital part of this work. To succeed and reach our goal we are now recruiting new colleagues with a strong commitment towards developing our company, our department and ourselves.

-Lead and perform software testing in complete machine
-Record and analyze CAN data to verify functionality
-Support other functions with CAN communication expertise
-Deliver report and test results to projects and product platform
-Develop test methods and test standards, explore new test equipment and methods.
-In close relation with E&E System AH department test and develop machine software.
-Contribute to develop the department to become world class leaders in complete machine testing.
-Increasing amount of software functionality together with increased complexity challenges us to develop new test methods and standards to secure high quality and performance for our end customers.

TnPO SW/RG are now seeking a test engineer with a big commitment and an urge to explore new ways of work and to improve our methods and standards. Your main responsibility will be to develop and perform software testing. The development is conducted in comfortable climate focusing on a cross-functional approach. You enjoy working in projects together with other people and other functions inside and outside of Volvo but you can also work independently in projects, take full responsibility for planning and execution. You are proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English.

You have a Master of science in engineering or equivalent experience. Previous experience from software test and development on vehicles with tools like Canalyzer, ATI Vision, Techtool preferred. Knowledge and experience on a higher level in CAN data communication highly meritorious.
