YOU WILL

As our SW Tester/Test Architect you will be a part of our core team with responsibility for continuous improvement in test architecture, common components configuration and re-usability strategy, and test strategies. You will ensure the process of producing high quality software with the correct functionality for our components and drivetrain systems. Our team strives for a highly automated and re-usable SW test environment securing an effective and efficient verification and validation process. Today we are at approx. 95% full automation level.

To achieve quick feedback on quality of the software you will work in close collaboration with our SW architect and software developers with agile methods and improve the CI/CT process. Collaboration on a global scale within BorgWarner is also important to enable competence growth for our team in the pursuit of excellence. YOU ARE

You need to have a driving personality but also an ability to create and maintain good structure and accuracy. Flexibility and a problem-solving mindset are important as we work in a fast-paced environment and always aim to reach good results. It is crucial that you can easily adapt to new conditions. Your social skills and ability to interact with others are important as you will be working within various projects, therefore you need to be a good communicator. You are also fluent in English, written and spoken.

We expect you to have solid experience within embedded systems testing and/or development. You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in e.g. Computer Science or equivalent and you have excellent programming skills in C. You have good system knowledge and understanding and experience of CAPL, Python or Vector tools is preferred. You have a very good understanding of hardware at the component level; and an ability to straddle software and hardware. Experience working in a global organization and with agile teams is preferable.
