What we are looking for
To be able to meet the increasing demand of electricity in the future we at Uniper believe that it’s necessary to invest in all fossil free alternatives. Nuclear Power is a cornerstone in the Swedish power system providing reliable and clean energy, including several grid stabilizing services.
To meet the growing demand for sustainable energy Uniper Nuclear Sweden is now looking for a Business Strategy Lead to our Nuclear Asset Strategy function. The main responsibility of the department is to drive the overall strategic agenda for the nuclear asset portfolio at Uniper by leading and supporting several strategic initiatives and projects.
What you will be working with
As our Business Strategy Lead you will have the opportunity to greatly impact and influence the execution and development of the Nuclear business at Uniper, through coordination and driving multiple strategic initiatives within the Nuclear business. By seeking and driving the various possibilities and opportunities to support Uniper Nuclear impact to the decarbonization agenda in the Nordics.
You will actively contribute to the strategy implementation, steer and drive strategical business development initiatives, create and coordinate financial and strategic decision material for management as well as develop key areas within Nuclear ecosystem through close cooperation with different group functions. You will also drive and ensure performance of the strategic initiative portfolio and continuously develop and support the strategic development of the Nuclear business.
The position is placed in Malmö and traveling will occur on a regular basis.

Who we are seeking
You have a college or university degree, preferably a master’s degree, within a relevant subject such as Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or similar. Preferably you have experience in working as a business developer or project manager. Relevant experience within the energy sector and management consulting is considered an advantage.
You have the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels. Excellent presentational skills are expected. As the role is set in an international environment, you need to be fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office is required.
To be successful in the role you need the willingness and ability to drive and challenge performance along with a strong analytical mindset. As a person, you have ability to see the big picture, find a pragmatic approach and at the same time be a team player. You also have a strong sense of accountability, personal drive and ahigh level of commercial awareness.
