Alfa Laval develops, manufactures and sells special products and world-class technical solutions that help our customers optimize the performance of their processes.Time and time again.Our equipment and systems create solutions for heating, cooling, separation and fluid handling of products such as oil, chemicals, water, beverages, foodstuffs, starch and pharmaceuticals.Alfa Laval has approximately 11,400 employees in more than 50 countries covering over 100 markets.We have just created a new Alfa Laval with a new spirit and a strong focus, that will reinforce our position as a global leader within the areas where we operate.Our solid base is our shared goals and values.We are customer oriented.We dare to do things differently.We are open, informal and flexible.We create reliable and cost-efficient solutions.We are a totally new company, founded in 1883. ?We have an exciting career opportunity for the right candidate to join our Corporate IT team in Lund, Sweden working specifically with the Syncron product.Syncron is used to automate and support global business process and is considered to be a strategic platform within Alfa Laval.As the Syncron Platform Manager you will be the architect setting the overall standards and guidelines for the product.You will be heavily involved in implementations of new solutions aiming to improve Alfa Laval's Processes.In this position you will: * Work closely with other Platform Managers, IS Project Managers, Application Managers, and Developers in providing the business with integrated system solutions that are designed to streamline our supply chain and other processes. * Act as the liaison between Alfa Laval and suppliers for solutions, support, and technical expertise * Develop internal competencies within Corporate IT in relation to the development and support of Syncron * Be intimately involved in strategic systems planning and enterprise architectural decisions * Responsible for securing and supervising the development resources to staff approved projects for new and existing initiatives related to SOA based solutions.Ideal skills & competencies: * Master degree or similar preferably with focus on IT. * Deep understanding and practical experience with Service Oriented Architecture, web services, and application integration principles. * Experience from managing projects and/or resources developing and supporting similar solutions. * Direct experience working with IBM® WebSphere® Process Server or similar. * Good understanding of ERP systems and supply chain related processes for global companies.
