We are now looking for a synthetic chemist who wants to help us with our large-scale production.
The role
The tasks include working with large-scale synthesis, in batch sizes between 23 and 80KG. It may also include small scale synthesis manufacturing, but the focus will be on learning and becoming an expert on our newly installed 100L reactor. You will follow our manufacturing procedure documents which are well elaborated over time. Prior experience with working according to a quality management system is considered as an advantageous. The position is offered as a permanent position (after a 6-month trial period).
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is used working with larger scale synthesis and preferably has experience of working according to a quality management system and someone who also enjoys heavier physical work. You will have a close collaboration with the rest of the production group. A requirement is that you must be able to cooperate and communicate well, as we consist of a small and close team. We also expect you to be accurate, prestigeless, loyal and flexible.
Qualifications
Experience in synthetic organic chemistry
Bachelor in Chemistry (BSc), Master in Chemistry (MSc) or Chemical Engineering (MEng)
Work experience 3 years or longer
Fluent in English, both orally and writing
