This position is based in Uppsala, where Thermo Fisher develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. How will you make an impact?
Would you like to be part of digitized operations? In this role you will get the chance to help our operations and lab production continue to evolve using digital tools and processes. As a system administrator, you will be a part of the "Center Of Excellence" at Thermo Fisher Scientific’s, ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) team. In this role you will take a lead in system administration and be responsible for the life cycle management of critical systems supporting warehouse and distribution. The System & Automation Services team is responsible for life cycle management of critical systems and automation solutions within production, lab production and warehouse/distribution. The team works side-by-side with other sections as IT, verification and maintenance teams. The section consists of 10 team members in total.

What will you do?
In the role of Systems Administrator, you will have the overall technical and service responsibility for critical systems within operations. You will also initiate development work to improve system functionality and ensure business continuity. You will work with life cycle management of computerized systems and work closely with external vendors and internal departments as IT.
Your responsibility also includes leading the team of key users, system owners and stake holders.
How will you get there?
Master's degree from relevant discipline
Experience in system administration, e.g. Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equal
Experience in life cycle management of computerized systems
Experience in planning and leading verification and validation activities
Experience in leading and drive process improvements
Demonstrated problem-solving ability with proven analytical skills
Structured and organized team player with good interpersonal skills
Good communication skills (both written and spoken) Swedish and English as working language
To succeed in this role, you need to have experience in leading work and smaller projects related to system management. We work in a heavily regulated industry; it is, therefore, important that you are structured and good at documenting your work.
