As a system administrator, you will be a part of the "Center Of Excellence" at Thermo Fisher Scientific’s, ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) team
Discover Impactful Work:
The System & Automation Services team is responsible for life cycle management of critical systems and automation solutions within production, lab production and distribution. The team works side-by-side with other sections as IT, verification and maintenance teams. The section consists of 11 team members in total
We offer an exciting and varied position where you will benefit from your technical experience of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills within one of the world's largest life-science companies.
A day in the Life:
This role will have the overall technical and service responsibility for critical systems within operations.
You will also initiate development work to improve system functionality and ensure business continuity.
Work with life cycle management of computerized systems and with external vendors and internal groups as IT
Your responsibility also includes leading the team of key users, system owners and stakeholders
Keys to Success:
Education
Master's degree from relevant field
Experience
Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or equal
Life cycle management of computerized systems
Planning and leading verification and validation activities
Leading and drive process improvements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Demonstrated problem-solving ability with proven analytical skills
Structured and organized team player with good interpersonal skills
Good communication skills (both written and spoken)
Proficiency in English is required, good knowledge of Swedish or German is a merit
To succeed you need to have experience in leading work and smaller projects related to system management. We work in a heavily regulated industry; it is, therefore, important that you are structured and good at documenting your work.
