System Administrator

About the position
We are now looking for a System Administrator to join our IT Operations department. In this position you will be able to grow within the operations field and both contribute to the team as well as learning from the senior group of System Administrators. As a System Administrator you are responsible for design, implementation and development of ATG’s server platform. The goal is to offer a secure and stable platform to support the work of the development function. Together with the team you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the server platform both on- and off-prem, server-, storage-, and messaging platform. You will also be responsible together with the team to drive the automation work forward.

You will be part of the team that is responsible for on-call which means that you possibly will have on-call duty when needed.
About you
We are looking for you who have knowledge within Linux, VMware, Storage and Containers. We believe that you have some working experience from a technical role, but the most important thing is that you are open to develop and learn within the field. We believe that you can manage and solve incidents but also have the ability to participate in developing the infrastructure to improve the service and understand our impact on our colleagues consuming the infrastructure.

You have a passion for technology and like to deliver a highly available & reliable infrastructure together with the team. You have a problem-solving mindset and enjoy taking a part of knowledge sharing in the team. You are curious about new technology and are eager to take part of moving our platforms into the future.

I have a background in the telecom and finance industry, providing platforms to business-critical applications with minimal down-time. I enjoy solving business needs with new technical solutions. As a manager I encourage an open environment with cooperation and discussion and delegate responsibility to the subject matter expert. In addition, I think it is important to have fun at work!
