Lindab is looking for a System Administrator to join the Infrastructure Services team in Grevie, Sweden. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ServiceDesk coordination, incident, problem and change management.

You will be a part of the IT Infrastructure service teams daily activities in accordance with Lindab’s ITIL-based IS/IT processes and in compliance with regulatory guidance. From our datacenter in Grevie on the Bjäre peninsula we can offer and exciting and developing environment.

In this role, you will work in a team of system administrators and manage the Lindab group AD, support the IS/IT Service owners by providing sufficient system surveillance with MS SCOM and manage Windows servers in general.
As responsible for ServiceDesk coordination you will guide the insourced ServiceDesk technicians in their daily operations to deliver professional customer service and support to the 3 200 users within the Lindab group.

You will take the role as Incident Manager ensuring the fastest possible restoring of a failing IS/IT services in case of incidents. You will also act as Problem Manager ensuring that all problems are handled over their lifecycle to avoid the re occurrence of incidents, minimize the negative impacts of not avoidable incidents, provide information about known errors, document possible and implemented workarounds and detect possible future problems proactively.



You are service oriented with a genuine interest in providing the best possible support to your colleagues within the business organisation. You need to understand both the technical details and have the ability to see the big picture. As a person, you are social, positive, down-to-earth and have a structured approach. You have a genuine interest in business challenges and possibilities enabled by IT technique.

Your background
IT education or equivalent work experience. Various certifications is seen as an advantage but is not a requirement.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as IT Technician/System Administrator. Experience from work with ServiceDesk management systems, Microsoft AD, SCOM. Skills in and experience from work with Microsoft remote desktop services is seen as an advantage but is not a requirement.
