Are you a System Administrator with Linux/Unix experience looking for a variated job and work within the whole product life cycle? We are expanding and looking for System Administrators with Linux/Unix experience to develop, deploy and administrate the Gripen simulators, training and support systems.
Your role
As a System Administrator at us you will work close with the operating systems and hardware components that are common of Saab's flight simulators, training and support systems. Within the role, you will be involved throughout the entire product life cycle from concept studies, requirement analysis, development of future capabilities to maintenance, deployment and upgrade of existing computer platforms, components and system-related software.
You will be an active part of a business that develop, deliver and maintain stable and advanced computer platforms adapted for aircraft simulation to meet the users expected reliability and performance.

As part of our team as System Administrator Linux/Unix we foresee you got experience within following areas:
* Linux/Unix operating systems RedHat and CentOS.
* Infrastructure including authentication and authorization
* Network and IT-security including encryption, firewall and switches
* Requirement work and system design
* Configuration Management
You are analytic with a good ability to understand and solve problems. You are comfortable working in team as independent. You will work in close collaboration with other departments within Saab as well as other companies and authorities both within and without Sweden.
We believe you have good communicative skill, verbally and in writing both in Swedish and English.
This position involves work covered by defense security, therefore it is required that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
Aeronautics offers flight-related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aircraft structure and services to defense and civil aviation industries worldwide. Aeronautic is responsible for the development, production, marketing, sales and support of the Gripen.
You will be a part of the section System and Product Engineering which is responsible for the development, deployment and administration of the computer platform of the Gripen simulators, training and support systems.
Offering a varied work that combines expertise in system design, operating systems, real-time systems, drivers, I/O-systems, networks and information security.
