System Architect

We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and motivated System Architect to join our product development team. You will be the technical lead in our local development team and responsible for all major technical issues in our local ERP product. You will also be involved in our international product portfolio. In your work you will go through all the development phases from capturing and transforming requirements into system capabilities and system development, to design, implementation and testing. You will also be central in maintenance and system evolution. As a system architect you are expected to work hands on with the source code. Our development teams work on a project basis in tight collaboration with other development teams, consultants, sales, and customers across the international organization. Qualifications[ * Completed a master's or bachelor's degree in computer science * Hands-on software development track record with at least 8 years experience. The two last years must be as a software architect * Good skills in database design, development, and configuration * Good knowledge about software engineering methods, patterns, and modeling Experience with object-oriented development, UML, Visual Basic, C++, C#, .Net, Microsoft SQL Server * Team-oriented and genuinely interested in software development * Experience with financial and logistic systems is an advantage * Good spoken and written language skills in English and Swedish [What Visma offers[ We offer an exciting position within an international working environment and a dynamic and highly skilled team.
