Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

 

On this journey we are looking for a system architect to work with our future challenges within our own developed transmission control systems, both ICE and electrified powertrains. You will be part of the “Software architecture and CM” team and work with six other equally skilled and passionate engineers that work closely together.

Assignment

Your mission is to work with the software architecture and set the standard for good implementations to meet the safety functional and cyber security requirements. We are supporting several sections in methods and tools connected to our areas of responsibility. The work with functional safety and cyber security at Scania is characterized by networking and collaboration. 

Are you a senior professional with solid experience from vehicle embedded control systems? Do you like solving problems where the solution is far from obvious? Do you have talent for structures in a complex context? Then you are the one we are looking for!

 Your profile

You probably have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent and a couple of years of experience from working with vehicle embedded systems. Solid knowledge in C and Simulink Is required. Previous experience from working with functional safety and/or cyber security is meritorious, as well as experience from test developing and possession of a trucks driving license. You are comfortable with taking lead in the work and enjoy involving your colleagues in your work. Good communication skills are important and good knowledge of English is required.
