What We Offer
Are you a system architect that wants to contribute to a more sustainable future? Then the role as System Architect OBD in our team Diagnostic Legal Compliance is the place for you to prosper. We mainly work with OBD attribute features and legal analysis. 

You will get the opportunity to work with the entire life cycle from the development of new legal requirements until product launch and beyond. You will be part of an international ambitious team, occasionally you will get the chance to travel abroad and represent Volvo in technical discussions with authorities. We ensure you great development opportunities within an exciting role. 

What You’ll Do
You will realize regulatory requirements into technical system requirements. You will be involved in legal studies, securing and systemizing viable OBD system solutions as well as compliant diagnostic strategies for all OBD nodes. You will prepare sourcing documentation (e.g. ESOW) and do Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). For future pure electric drivelines, you will also work with the implementation of solutions to fulfill present and future legal diagnostic requirements onboard Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV). 

You will have close cooperation with legal analysts OBD, OBD node owners, OBD developers and suppliers. 

Do you fit the profile?
We see that you have a Master of Science or equivalent documented experience. You have more than 15 years of experience working with OBD development and are fully proficient as far as Requirement Management (e.g. CarWeaver, DOORS, etc). You possess deep knowledge about diagnostic systems and its functions as well as of OBD legislation. 

On a Personal Level
You are a self-driven and positive team player with a strategic mindset. You enjoy being social and easily build a network. Further, you bring structure and have the ability to summarize and present the status of your work.
