Our Exciting Opportunity
We are looking for System Architect / Product owner (PO) to strengthen the core development capacity of the Ericsson Mobile Financial Solutions (MFS). You will be part of a growing and dynamic development organization that develops new features using the latest technology and work on improving the current architecture.
You will work on developing a product that improves the lives of millions of daily users in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. By building our financial platform you will help to bring financial freedom to many people around the World!

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services helps operators and service providers to prosper in the digital economy.

You will
Drive development of the Ericsson Mobile Financial Solutions product
Leading/participating in the development activity in your technical expertise.
Secure that business requirements/Quick studies get adequate technical solution that fits in the product & system architecture
Manage product architecture on system level, between other products and within the product modules
Secure that agreed functionality gets implemented as planned
Be responsible for features that the teams are working on i.e. owning the features
Collaborate with Design Teams to prioritize user stories and if needed define a phased approach towards the Design Team delivery goal.
Verify whether the Acceptance Criteria (process tollgates) are met by the Design team


To be successful in the role you must have
A minimum of 5 years’ documented experience as a System Manager or equivalent role
A university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Knowledge in and experience to work with modern software development techniques such as JAVA J2EE, Vue.js, Kubernetes, Docker, Micro Services and DB skills (Oracle)
Excellent analytical skills
Experience in software security
Ability to deliver results & meet customer expectations
Experience of DevOps and Agile SW development
Positive attitude with a passion to win
Leadership and mentoring skills
Experience working SW development of Bank / Financial systems
Communication skills
Proficient English

Our main development center is located in the coastal vibrant city of Karlskrona, Sweden. Here you find a rich social life, a dynamic business landscape with lots of focus on mobile technology and the well-renowned Blekinge Institute of Technology. House prices are at attractive levels and you can easily find your very own seaside place. The South East part of Sweden has oceanic climate and the region is sometimes referred to as the Garden of Sweden. There are direct trains to Karlskrona every hour from Copenhagen and Ronneby airport is located only 30 minutes from the office. Ericsson's Karlskrona office is located in a premium site in the city, with good options for parking and public transportation. Karlskrona is very accessible with bike lanes, many of our colleagues choose to walk or cycle to work.
