We are seeking a System Architect to take part in the analysis to understand the needs, the current implementation, define the gap and propose a design broken down into User Stories for the project's Product Backlog.
We are working with complex Point Of Sales solutions for a global retail businesses. The customers represents brands with global presence where operational excellence represents high values.
The POS Platform can be viewed as Infrastructure as Code (IaC). IaC is an approach to managing data center server, storage, and networking infrastructure. IaC is meant to significantly simplify large-scale configuration and management. In this case, IaC is used to manage a large volume of globally distributed stores, primarily within the fashion retail business. The POS Platform consists of two main parts, an Operating System Platform that is executing on the store units, and the DevOps IaC Platform.
Essential (must have) skills, knowledge and experience
- English language proficiency
- Good experience from Agile ways of working
- You have probably five years of experience from working as solution- or system level architect, based on an experience from software development to better understand the needs of a software developer
- You have been working with Linux and Windows operating systems, as both these OS are part of the solution
- Holistic view
