System Architect till Emerson

Do you want to be a part of Product Management at Emerson? We are now looking for a System Architect who will play a central role when we build a new software platform for our next generation system solutions.

YOU WILL

As System Architect, you will provide technical leadership to the Product Management. You will be the owner of one of our software platforms and be responsible for the platform strategy and technical roadmap. You will work with Engineering leads, UX designers and other System Architects to handle all software products within the portfolio and analyze the customers requirements. Together with a team of software engineers you will lead and coordinate the development of your software platform. You will go through mockups, design reviews and evaluate new technologies to make sure the system always is up to the latest level and at the same time always have a cybersecurity mindset.

YOU PROFILE

Your technical skills is broad rather than deep and narrow. Leadership comes naturally to you and with strong communication and presentation skills people follow your lead. You understand programming and have at least five years experience of working as a System Architect. You are a problem solver and enjoy participating in many processes at once.

We also see that you have:

- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Backend architecture background (Cloud environment, Micro services, message bus, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

If you have experience within any of below its meritorious:

- IT/OT cybersecurity (IEC 62443, ISA 27001)
- Distributed Control Systems, SCADA Software
- Frontend architecture (Progressive Webb App, Electron)
