System Configuration Engineer

As a System Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, recommending, introducing, and supporting various hardware and software configurations. This role involves assessing business requirements and evaluating related costs versus benefits. You will develop, maintain, control, audit, analyze, and manage a variety of information systems. Your responsibilities will include defining system scope and objectives, devising strategies, developing or modifying procedures, and resolving complex problems.
You will independently perform a range of engineering duties that require judgment and the application of standard engineering principles and practices. You will plan, conduct, or coordinate complex engineering activities, encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Additionally, you will conduct or coordinate detailed analyses, advanced technical studies, and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations.
Profile Requirements:
Minimum education and experience requirements:
At least six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or
Another technical degree with more than 15 years of work experience within the relevant field.
Proficiency in the English language.

Additional Information: This role primarily focuses on network setup discussions with various suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
Involvement in discussions on WSUS, EPO, Backup Solutions, Firewalls, and Switches, ensuring the design meets the project’s requirements.
Networking experience (Subnetting, VLAN, NAT, IPSEC, VPN, etc.).
Managing large networks with different subsystems (Firewalls, Switches).
Leading discussions with various suppliers and guiding the design process.
