System Controller Finance

Are you the system-oriented and process-obsessed controller we are looking for? We are now seeking a System Controller to join our finance department in Gothenburg! Our finance department handles the financial administration for the majority of Stena Line’s 30+ legal entities. To effectively support Stena Line’s complex business activities and efficiently manage a multitude of processes, we rely on robust systems and integrations as well as a high level of automation – in part achieved by the utilization of robotics.   

As our System Controller Finance, your primary focus will be on the setup, maintenance, and development of our finance system JD Edwards. You will also support users in our Accounts Payables, Receivables, and Accounting teams. In addition, you will be the product owner of our Record2Report platform Cadency. 

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Maintain accounts, dimensions, and system parameters
- Monitor system and interface performance
- Initiate changes and updates to how we utilize our systems and tools and follow through with documentation and user training

You will be joining the Process System & Development team within the finance department, a team consisting of one process developer, three other system controllers, and three RPA developers. Together we maintain our financial systems and tools, the financial flows from our business systems, and focus on the development of processes and controls.

Who you are
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. We believe you have previous experience working as a financial controller but are more passionate about the systems and processes producing the figures rather than analyzing the figures themselves.

You thrive on tweaking a process into working better and cannot resist a good problem. You’re structured, analytical, and can work independently as well as part of a team. You’re also a proficient user of Office365, especially in Excel.

Qualifications:
- Sc. in Business Administration and Economics or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience from a, preferably, international business
- Experience from and understanding of finance-related systems and tools
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
