Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior System Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Design electrical and electronic systems by defining the purpose, component interface, and system behaviors.
Lead system engineering efforts within a technical team, ensuring seamless integration of deliveries from others.
Drive work from an operational and short-term perspective, ensuring quality and readiness before release.
Implement system architecture strategies and roadmaps up to the final delivery in the end product.
Participate in specification implementation and verification loops to secure system aspects of the solution.
Ensure system and non-functional requirements are correctly implemented.
Lead concept investigations with teams, steering the exploration of alternatives to establish system-level concepts.
Actively support the product manager in clarifying needs and breaking them down into features/enablers.
Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and system architecture roadmaps.
Manage interfaces and non-functional requirements within the scope of agile release trains.
Serve as the client’s representative in technical meetings.
Provide technical guidance to contractors through meetings and standards.
Review and validate drawings and documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Lead technical teams towards common goals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
What You Bring:
12+ years of relevant experience in major industrial projects focusing on Electrical Design.
Recognized as an expert in electrical and electronic architecture, with the ability to apply network requirements, function requirements, and network topology knowledge.
A college or university degree in Electrical Engineering.
Proficiency in system engineering, understanding the V model, and supporting function development at any level.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and structure projects.
Fault trace knowledge, with the ability to find and apply technical information to investigation work.
Experience with embedded systems and components, HW design and layout, and test and verification.
Lab work experience using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic testers, and signal generators.
Exceptional leadership skills, capable of leading technical teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
Ability to work via Microsoft Teams and other collaborative tools.
Additional Skills (Advantageous):
Experience working in a SAFe organization.
Embedded development knowledge (C/C++).
FPGA/ASIC development (VHDL/Verilog).
Application software development (C#/.NET).
Familiarity with System Weaver (SE-Tool).
