What’s in it for you?
Safe Vehicle Automation, consists of around 600 skilled engineers who are responsible for everything from research and advanced engineering, to implementation, verification, and validation of current and future customer offers in the area of Safety, Vehicle control and Autonomous Drive. Within our Agile Release Train (ART) Active Safety Functions, we develop functions such as Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking, and Driver Support. We design and integrate functionality and SW into a complete product, using sensor input such as radar, camera, ultrasonic, and lidar, that build a comprehensive perception of the car’s surroundings.
Our Parkndrive team is now looking for a System Design Engineer to support us in creating the best customer experience!

What you’ll do
You will work as a System Design Engineer in the team responsible for the automatic parking and parking camera functionality. The team is designing the customer functions, and setting requirements for attributes, user experience, and performance. The team is also responsible for verifying the customer functions, from integration to attributes.
As a System Design Engineer, you will be designing the system, collaborating across the organisation, and getting the interface together. You will perform system safety and hazard analysis, collaborate closely with the test engineers and the sensor platform teams, and align functionality to sensor performance. You will also work together with the suppliers to ensure the best functionality, and continuously be part of the development and testing of the function and system.
Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in the role you have the drive to learn continuously and are flexible to broaden your experience. You have a BCs or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Automation, and Control, Automotive or similar. You have a few years of experience in system design and writing requirements on different abstraction levels. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and are enthusiastic about helping your colleagues to improve their competence in this area. This role requires you to be apart of a scrum team, having experience of working agile is an advantage. Finally, you are fluent in English, spoken and written, and have a driver’s license (B).
