We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a System Design Engineer Protective Safety with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for an ambitious System Design Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience to join our ART Protective Safety team. You will be a member of one of our Agile Scrum teams and will have the opportunity to work with various Design Engineering features such as System, HW, and SW development, depending on your previous skills and experience. Your primary responsibility as a System Design Engineer will be to create one of our systems (HP GNSS and SRS).
The job also entails leading and planning the necessary work, as well as reporting to management. Cooperation with other teams within the ART, as well as other Engineering Departments/ARTs, Procurement, Production, testing facilities, and so on, is a regular part of your job.
Various technical solutions will be evaluated to ensure that the vehicles meet our stringent safety standards. SW development and coding skills are required, and you will also be expected to contribute to the development of our new architectural SW for our ART Protective Safety in general.
Your main responsibilities include the following:
Participate actively in the agile scrum team.
To plan, lead, and carry out the necessary system design.
Develop, align, and implement relevant requirements, such as System/Functional Safety (ISO26262), Cyber Security, and legal parts.
When necessary, leading technical reviews for the product.
System interface alignment and reviews
Actively participate in DVM reviews (Design Validation Methods).
Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
A master's or bachelor's degree in mathematics, mechatronics, electronics, or physics.
5 years of experience in system/hardware/software development.
Knowledge of Matlab, Python, and Simulink
B driver's licence
Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies.

It is advantageous to have the following knowledge & experience:
Prior experience in automotive development is advantageous.
Prior experience with Vector products such as CANoe and CANalyzer is advantageous.
