SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a System Design Engineer to design and develop control models to support customer functionality, you will work with a variety of different areas and tasks such as functional and system safety architecture, signal and subsystem definition, and requirement towards ECUs, sensors and actuators.
What you'll do:
● Collect and negotiate requirements with our main stakeholders, such as propulsion performance, electrical performance, EMC, durability etc.
● Refine and break down requirements to be tangible for the electronic and mechanic designers.
● Work on modelling and system simulations of performance, losses, electrical properties as well as system level testing of conceptual solutions.
● Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience.
● Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration.
Who you are:
● Have a master’s degree in electrical engineering, preferably towards power electronics or electric drives, or equivalent area of education.
● Several years of professional experience from working with power electronics from system design perspective and preferably within the field of electric drive systems.
● Have Knowledge and experience with CAD/PLM tools (Siemens TeamCenter and NX) and GD&T (ASME y14.5 and ISO) and understanding of system safety ISO26262.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Good knowledge of product support work and product development is meritorious as well as experience in manufacturing.
