What's in it for you?
Our unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consist of ambitious and highly skilled engineers and is responsible all the way from research and advanced engineering to implementation, Verification and validation of current and future customer offers in our cars. Within our ART Autonomous Drive & Advanced Driver Assistance System Platform, we develop the foundation for our functions. We lead the development of our components for example Lidar, Radar, Cameras and ultrasonic sensors and integrate the system and into a complete platform that we can build our functions on. At Radar & Ultrasonic sensors we are three agile teams working close together with suppliers and other teams to specify, integrate and verify our sensor solutions. We are now looking for a developer to our Ultrasonic team. Our ultrasonic sensors is mainly used to utelize out parking and low speed functions.

What you will do
We are now looking for a team player, to take part in our agile development team that is leading the development of Ultrasonic sensors for the next generation premium Volvo Cars. Your main focus will be System design of our Ultrasonic system, that includes system safety and interfaces towards other systems in our vehicles. You will drive the System discussions between the relevant stakeholders feature and ECU teams, but also work close to our sensor supplier.
Who are you?
We see that you have a documented experience from automotive system design with a high knowledge in the Ultrasonic or low speed parking domain. You like to interact with other parts of the company and are not afraid to try new ways of working. You are curious and enjoy to be a part of a team.
We see that you are a well-structured team player and can drive the team forward together within the company. You have a Bachelor or Master of Science within electronics, software, computer science or similar competence, fluent in English both written and spoken. Driver`s license “B”, valid in EU and knowledge in agile Software development is meritorious.
