System Design Engineer within Electromobility

Nexer is looking for an engineer who is passionate about development in the field of electromobility. Here you have the chance to grow and take the next step in your career. You will be part of our office located in Lindholmen. It is important to us at Nexer that you as an employee are offered good opportunities to develop in your work and as a person. As a consultant, you will also have influence in which assignment you work in, all to ensure that it is in line with your development and knowledge. 

About the role: 

Here you will work within electromobility and this includes the entire automotive segment. Which means that the role will involve working in both light and heavy duty applications.

Tasks that you will do in your daily work include:

-Balance requirements picture

-Harmonization of HW design around regulations such as UN R100, ADR, ISO 6469, ISO 17409, SAE J2910, IEC 61140, IEC 60664 etc. 

-Responsible for platform requirements and specifications

-Manage design at component level and handle deviations

-Develop and maintain S-FMEA

-Concept studies on SW and HW functionality

-Develop roadmap around a platform perspective

-Provide support in training, problem solving and verification

Your background:

- You have studied Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or have equivalent knowledge from working life

- Be able to demonstrate experience in high voltage or voltage class B integrated with "power system design"

- Be able to demonstrate experience of having worked in functional safety in automotive products and applications

-Experience towards powertrain in electromobility

Good to have but not a requirment:

- Experience as a component owner with a focus on HW electronics is an advantage

- Interested in helping to create a better world through the development of the vehicles of the future 

- You base your decisions on facts and are analytical in your work
