The Grid & Power Quality Solutions (G&PQS) is now looking for a System Design Manager that want to engage, develop and grow a diverse team of ten system design engineers. You will have a central part of ensuring quality and delivery of engineering activities, tenders and projects. We offer you an exciting and dynamic role with close collaboration with research and development, project managers, and other departments and teams at Hitachi ABB Power Grids globally.
Your responsibilities
Coach and support the team and individuals and be liable for the competence development
Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical resources as well as your team members
Ensure on-time delivery of engineering activities and conduct quality of deliverables in tenders and projects
Have good collaboration with the other engineering disciplines in Hitachi ABB units globally
Follow up on budget
Ensure process adherence and implement improvements

Your background
You hold a Bachelor or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar
You have experience in project business
As a leader you are inspirational, customer-focused, empowering, and accountable
You like to work in a dynamic, international and multicultural environment
You are open to share great knowledge into the field of engineering
Preferably you have knowledge or experience in System Design and Sales
Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken, to enable interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders
