About this opportunity
PDU Cloud RAN
The organization within Business Unit Networks seeks to work closely with our customers, passionate about the delivery of virtualized RAN solutions. We are building a full stack virtualization of the 5G vCU (Virtual Central Unit) and vDU (Virtual Distributed Unit) based on COTS HW and cloud-native technologies.
We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge established flow with new methodologies are active in the open-source communities and embrace a start-up mentality to deliver a product with great customer experience.

What you will do
Are you interested? Excellent! We are looking for a System Developer to join our vCU team.
Work closely with the system lead group defining roadmaps for the Simplification & Automation journey ahead.
Collaborate with development teams to solve challenges in design
Be active in architecture work.
Define solutions to real world use cases.
Work collaboratively with our customers to secure a world class product.
Adopt Cloud Native (CN) technology and principles.
Work closely with product line, customer unit,
Prototype new solutions.
You will bring
Experience working with Cloud Native product principles (microservices, containers, pods) is a great asset
Experience in architecture work for Cloud Native products is also a great asset
Experience in driving and delivering results in complex technical questions
3-4 years’ work in Wireless & SW and/or Cloud Native product development
MSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge
Experience in any of the following areas are beneficial: Analytics/AI/ML, Virtualization, Development of microservices, HCP, Robustness/Resilience/Overload Control in CN apps, Capacity of CN apps, Orchestration/LCM/in-service upgrade, FM/PM/CM, Security
Programming skills in object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++. Other programming languages are highly valuable as well
Having shown an innovative behaviour
Great communication skills
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
