The team
You will be part of a competent and ambitious team, that works agile in sprints (SCRUM) and have close contacts with many of our customers, who are also the stakeholders. The team consist of 7 members that works closely together to deliver the organizational needs and finding solutions for future.
What do we use every day?
• Our development environment is Visual Studio and .Net
• JIRA for tracking issues and bugs
• Perforce for handling different versions from our source codes
• Jenkins, that we use for automatic builds and deliveries of our tools
We are now planning to move towards cloud solutions and will soon start the development of cloud services in AWS.
Your mission
You will be part of our plan to develop new tools that support the future needs and requirements of production, our main customer as a team. You will also be responsible together with other team members to maintain and keep the current solution up and running. That will require a thorough understanding of the implemented solution, as well as the commitment to a certain level of quality for your deliveries.
Our day to day operations consists of complex system structures and a variety of vehicles and third party systems, which we connect and harvest data from. We thrive to utilize digitalization to maximize efficiency and minimize waste for the clients and other key stakeholders.
Your profile
We are looking for you with 2-5 years of experience in developing .NET C# applications, adapted for both desktop applications developed with WPF and for the web applications developed with ASP.NET MVC. You are expected to have a very good knowledge in Entity Framework (EF) as well as databases (SQL server). You are expected to have an experience working with Microsoft web services WCF.
You have worked for 2 years with quality assurance and test driven development. If you have an experience with the development of cloud services via AWS would be interesting for us and meritorious. We use Kibana as a logging tool for our system, so the knowledge with this system is also a merit.
You like to work iteratively with contacts to the customers and colleagues and you are skilled at communicating and thereby create a good understanding as a basis for creating value. You keep your focus when working with a challenging task or in a challenging environment. You have an agile mindset and are fluent in verbal and written English.
An academic education within IT is meritorious.
Of course you are interested in software architecture and how IT can impact our products within Scania!
