Kongsberg Automotive AB in Mullsjö is part of the Kongsberg Automotive group. The product development within Kongsberg Automotive is subject to global competition, with high demands on our performance.
Kongsberg Automotive have now started a new Center of Excellence (COE) for Electronic and SW development in Mullsjö. This team will be responsible for design, development and test of the electronics for the full product range within all business areas in Europe. We also work together with our colleagues in North America and Asia in a global automotive market.


For our Interior Business Area, we are looking for a qualified electronics engineer focusing interfacing to the customer. Your role will be to act as the connecting link between our customers throughout Europe our electronics- team in Mullsjö, our production plant in Poland and our PCBA suppliers. You will have experience in preparing and giving technical presentations and developing relationships with engineering departments at customers. Responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating customer requirements, the writing of technical documentation, writing and giving technical presentations, preparing block diagrams, producing PCBA cost estimations and preparing validation plans. You will have knowledge of electronics hardware design at component level and will be responsible for integration and optimisation of the electronics within the mechatronic system. You will be handling and prioritizing internal and external tasks within the field of electronics, as well as working proactively together with our production plant defining product quality and testing procedures. You will support our purchasing department working with our PCBA suppliers and define the PCBA test specifications. You will be responsible for new and existing projects, working in a team of 5 electronics engineers in Mullsjö.

We are looking for a college/university graduate in electronics or related areas. You must have at least 3-5 years' experience from working in a similar role in an international environment. Previous experience from the automotive industry is a requirement, as well as being able to drive projects based on your ability to take a holistic approach. You have an excellent knowledge of English. Travelling is required occasionally,
