Job Summary
Are you the next engaged System Engineer that will be part of driving systems development in Tetra Pak?
We are looking for an engaged System Engineer that can take an exciting leading role when developing system solutions at Tetra Pak.
In the role, you will lead the technical development where focus is on packaging materials and the integration with all parts of the value chain, e.g., base materials, converting, packaging material, filling equipment and package.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden, with stakeholders and team members spread around the globe.
What you will do
Your focus as System Engineer is to lead the technical development of end-to-end packaging solutions. You will work in scrum teams of engineers and lead the collaboration between scrum teams contributing to the solutions.
Key tasks:
Lead requirements management including translating business needs into requirements
Define and understand the system under development
Lead interface management including securing the integration to other impacting or impacted systems
Lead the Failure Mode Effects and Analysis and technical risk management
Lead the definition and execution of the verification and validation plan
Analyse and propose trade-offs, that minimise time to market with minimal business value dilution
Present technical status at sprint reviews and in technical governance forums

We believe you have
To be successful in this position you have experience from developing complex systems. In addition, you have a good understanding of technical product development processes. You are curious about the interaction between technology and business development and can lead discussions concluding the full value-chain perspective.
As a person, you are confident in your expertise and enjoy taking a leading role in technical development activities. You are a true team player with strong communication skills who easily builds trust towards colleagues and stakeholders. You are structured in your work and have adopted to working in an agile environment.
We believe you have a university degree within Engineering and at least 7 years’ experience from working in a technical product development environment. You have documented experience in System Engineering methodologies and are fluent in speaking and writing in English.
