Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you a passionate software developer who thrives on innovation and creating solutions that shape a sustainable future? Join us at Scania as we lead the way in sustainable transport solutions. We are currently looking for a talented System Developer to be part of our Powertrain Testing team, contributing to the evolution of our in-house test platform for cutting-edge driveline components.
The Role:
As the electrification of drivelines rapidly changes our existing testbeds, we are facing new challenges and investing heavily in our Powertrain Testing department. In the role of a System Developer, you will play a crucial part in supporting Research & Development in the testing process by developing our test platform, building simulations, and creating models for both current and future systems. You will work closely with a dedicated group of engineers to blend software development with product understanding, tackling interfaces between the test platform, test equipment, and the products themselves.
We value innovation, collaboration, and curiosity. You will be part of a supportive team environment where problem-solving and communication are essential. If you're skilled—or eager to learn—PC-based Control Systems, LabVIEW/TwinCAT, Phyton, fieldbuses like EtherCAT/CAN, and SQL databases, you’ll fit right in.
What we offer:
At Scania, we offer more than just a job—we offer a dynamic and supportive workplace where you will grow both personally and professionally. You will enjoy diverse challenges and have plenty of opportunities to expand your skills through internal and external courses.
Other benefits include:
Free training at our health center or a wellness allowance.
Result-based bonuses.
Flexible working hours.
Occupational pension.
Discounted lunches.
Car leasing options.
Scania Job Express bus service from Stockholm to Södertälje.
Is this you?
We are looking for someone who loves technology, is curious, and enjoys the challenge of learning new things. You should have a sharp eye for detail and a talent for finding smart solutions. You are a proactive individual who takes initiative, enjoys team discussions, and values collaboration. Strong communication and multitasking skills are a must, and an agile mindset will help you succeed in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, or other similar engineering programs, system developer, or relevant experience.
Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
Experience in system development, agile methodologies, or previous work at Scania is a bonus.
