System Engineer

We are now looking for a skilled system engineer with a strong focus on project deliveries and technical skills in a cross-functional team. 
Husqvarna is market lead in robotic lawn mowing. System Design department at R&D Robotics currently consists of 10 system engineers and technical project managers with long and wide experience round product development and technical lead. The atmosphere in the group is warm, unpretentious and open at the same time as the level of ambition is high and the tasks challenging.

Responsibilities
In the role as system engineer you are responsible for the overall requirements set up and overall design of the robotic lawnmower product family. Typically, you face questions on how to realize certain features in a cost effective way by utilizing electronics, software, mechanics and/or digital solutions. This means you play a central role and often act as leader in the cross-discipline technical teams set up for a specific technical task or solution. You are also responsible for the system documentation, both internally and externally. 

Qualifications
To be successful as System Engineer R&D Robotics you should most likely have the following capabilities and experiences:


Master of Science in Engineering with at least 10 years working experience.
Wide experience within product development and/or systems engineering with specialization in at least two of following areas, embedded software, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics or digital solutions.
 Practical experience of requirements management.


Preferred Qualifications


Technical lead of teams or in projects
 Autonomous systems or robotics
 Certification or Functional Safety
 Simulation, e.g. in Matlab.
