The Sustainable Power organization within Volvo CE is the center of development for off-road engines, auxiliary components and future emission free power solutions. We are responsible for the Power solution in all our Construction Equipment Machines, e.g. Articulated Haulers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders and Road & Utility Machinery.

The Controls & Diagnostic team is responsible for the future Control systems of Sustainable power and Thermal Management. We also handle integration of engine and its subsystems regarding performance, emissions, fuel consumption, drivability, diagnosis, and communication. We also handle the controls integration of fuel cell solutions.
System Engineer for engine
With the ambition to develop the best off-road engines in the world we are now strengthening our team with one Engine System Engineer.
As an Engine System Engineer you will be working with the integration of the Engine Control Units into Volvo CE´s Machine electronic architecture. The work relates to CAN bus communication, SW requirements, SW verification and Electrical HW selection. You will be a part of a team developing the next generation of power solutions.

Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
M.Sc. in Electronics or Mechatronics
Experience in Electronics, Engine or Vehicle calibration, Diagnostic calibration
Experience in using Matlab Simulink
Knowledge of internal combustion engines and exhaust after treatment systems
Knowledge of vehicle performance
Experience of embedded systems
