The role
As a System Admin for the IT Internal Services team, you must liaise and collaborate cross-functionally with various members in our offices worldwide and coordinate the change, release management and maintenance of different 3rd party application systems. You will recommend a resolution to complex matters of significance and coordinate the implementation of the approved course of action.
You will work in coordination with the IT department to develop and support cloud and Linux infrastructure, ideally, you are familiar with Windows infra as well. You will provide technical assistance on Linux/Windows and Cloud-based systems, and resolve complex operational problems.
The role involves heavy interface and working closely with other key members of the IT Services team and stakeholders with different focus & areas of expertise which include, however not limited to; Linux/Unix Administrators, DBA's, Application Developers, Network Administrators, and IT Operations staff.

Responsibilities:
System Administration of 3rd party application systems. Linux and/or cloud based.
Coordinate the change management process.
Create technical documentation of processes and systems in scope
Manage technical configurations and user access rights
Deploy software releases in production and test environments
Alarm, incident, change and problem handling according to the ITIL framework
Identify new systems that lack technical ownership and take the responsibility to administer them
Be part of system implementation, acting as technical resource projects (technical diagrams, network security, installation, documentation and handover to operations team).


Requirements:
Five or more years of experience with system administration. Cloud systems and Linux/Windows environments.
Knowledge of Bash/Shell/Phyton script language
Good understanding of SQL queries and Database related processes
Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures
Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures
Strong skills in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems
Good communication skills to communicate with different stakeholders (tech and non-tech)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
