The Team
Today electromobility is growing rapidly and we are therefore looking for a System Engineer with a cyber security focus to join our Battery Management System team in the journey of creating innovative design and smart solutions for the electrical system in batteries. The team is working in a cross-functional setup where we have and share knowledge within areas of Functional safety, Cyber security, and Battery function design.
The role
In this role, you will work together with your colleagues to specify and developing complete battery design and functions. As a System Engineer you will be responsible for the system requirements and aligning them with our stakeholders of the high energy batteries that are used in the heavy-duty electric vehicles, machines, and fuel cell systems. You will make sure that the battery system fulfills all relevant electrical standards and support as product cybersecurity coordinator of energy storage system for UNECE R155 cybersecurity regulation for road vehicles. This responsibility also includes Electromagnetic compatibility, EMC, and electrical safety.
This role requires a broad understanding of electrical architecture, which includes both 800V traction voltage components and low voltage communications harnesses. You will be working closely with the hardware and software teams to make sure all standards are fulfilled.

To succeed in this role, you need
A bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics or similar (equivalent experience is also adequate)
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably within electrification
Basic understanding of UNECE R155 Regulation, ISO 21434 Standard, Cybersecurity management process
Meritorious, if you have
Experience in battery systems
Knowledge in Functional Safety and ISO-26262
Experience from analyzing data, i.e., by using Matlab, Excel or similar tools
