Volvo Group and Powertrain Engineering at Volvo Group Trucks Technology is looking for a System Engineer! Do you want to be part of an innovative team and work together towards a clean Future?
The heavy-duty diesel future will be very interesting but also a demanding challenge. There is a need to take big steps in reducing CO2 (reduced fuel consumption) and comply with the even more restricted emission legislation. Your mission:
In this position you will be supporting the Fuel Injection Team with the development of Fuel Injection System, its architecture and features. You will be responsible for the planning and development of the system and be a part of a global cross-functional team involving Purchasing, After Market and Operations.
As System Engineer you will participate in different stages of the Product Development form the earlier development phases including Advance Engineer and supplier selection to the start of production and continuing to the product maintenance phase.

Key experience and knowledge for the role:
Master of Science or similar technical education.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
10 years experience with powertrain product development.
5 years experience as Leader in Product Development and cross-functional operations specially in supplier management.
In depth knowledge about Fuel Injection System and Combustion System.
In depth knowledge of the relationship between hardware and software, diagnostics and fault codes.
Experience with product documentations: Legal documentation, Requirements, Product and Process Documentation, etc.
If you also have experience from Volvo Group Trucks Technology Organization and specifically Powertrain Engineering that is considered a merit. We also consider it a merit if you have knowledge in systems and tools such as KOLA, PDMlink, PIL, Protom, Knox, EDB, Argus, Creo, Tech tool, JIRA.
