System engineer - cloud

Data Engineer within Diagnostics is needed within department Vehicle Data and Diagnostics for developing the Next Generation Data Cloud Applications.
In recent time, profitability and customer impact related to Uptime has become more obvious and clear. New requirements related to future mobility solutions demands major upgrade of monitoring capabilities, predictive maintenance and vehicle health algorithms. This is accomplished by a strictly data driven way of working, competent and curious co-workers and end-to-end responsibility.
Our department are responsible for delivering Complete Vehicle Diagnostics system and E2E platform for diagnostic monitoring & vehicle data collection with applications both in the car and in Cloud.
The Diagnostic Data Processing and Services team is a fast-growing team, which is building and operating the big data platform for the company. We collect massive amounts of data; provide storage, access, and high-volume processing. Do you want to contribute to improving the functionality of our cars worldwide? Then the role as Data Engineer within Diagnostics is the place for you to prosper. You will collaborate with different stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution and be an important player of the team in close collaboration with Product Owner, Scrum Master and team colleagues.
Do you fit the profile?
We see that you have Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent. You have substantial experience in software development in for example Python. You have experience in designing, building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
Responsibilities:
• Development of data storage solutions, data transformation, data management, query system
• Data quality assurance
• Participate in architectural improvements to support our growing user base
• Employ a variety of languages and tools (e.g. scripting languages) to marry systems together.


You have at least 3-5 years relevant experience in professional development in Cloud applications.
