Autonomous Transport Solutions is one of Scania’s focus areas to achieve our goal of ‘Driving the shift’. Assignment
You will be one of our system engineers focusing on autonomous Hub2Hub solutions. You and your colleagues main responsibility will be to define our system requirements and capabilities based on our fast development loops. You will be analysing different system levels and refine requirements as well as contributing to the product definition of our autonomous trucks. You will cover a wide span of the system and will be working closely with the product management team, the safety team as well as developers, testers and architects.
Together with our agile way of working, fast feedback loops and iterative improvements you will empower us to deliver a world class product!
Who are you we are looking for?
You believe in an agile culture and have the ability to continuously adapt on our findings. To succeed in this position you need to be a strong team player, contributing to our common goal, be communicative, show your initiative and be energized by challenges. Working in this dynamic field of autonomous vehicles you need to be flexible and eager to tackle new challenges.
• Having experience withing software development and system engineering
• Knowledge in requirement handling and traceability
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts
• Ability to lead and to refine requirement down to a solution
• Understanding of autonomous systems for vehicles
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and requirements for autonomous vehicles
• Be experienced and interested in agile development methods
• Have a graduate or master's degree in engineering or equivalent (B.Sc., M.Sc. and/or PhD)
