System Engineer - Interior Lightning

As our System Engineer you will be an important player in the development of Interior Lighting systems for the next generation of smarter and more sustainable mobility. You will join a team that are dedicated to development, innovation and technology.

Our team, HMI Hardware & Features, is a part of the department Rider Environment and are responsible for almost all UX interfacing parts. The team consists of a great mix of very experienced and more junior engineers that are, just like you, proud of their professionalism, motivation and level of skills.

This is what you will do most of the time:

- Support Interior Light team strategies and road map
- Perform Interior Light system development that meet functional requirements
- Designs and specify sub-systems and material that meet requirements
- Drives the Interior Light development towards suppliers according to requirements
- Secures implementation in projects of technologies within given frames
- Specify and follows up testing and validation at suppliers and at CEVT
- Supports the supplier selection process
- Employer and line manager responsibility
- Min 6 years’ experience from development and specification of Interior systems
- Well experienced in Catia
- Experience of working with Team center system
- Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
- A flexible mindset
- Experience in project management
- Leading supplier work
- Ability to work in cross functional teams
- Cultural sensitivity, especially Asian - European culture
- Change management skills
- Fluent in English (Speaking/Writing)
- Driver’s license B
- A flexible and innovative mindset

- Cultural sensitivity, especially Asian - European culture Reporting structure
- Line reporting to Head of HMI HW& Features

- Well experienced in Catia
- Experience of working with Team center system
