The Role:

You should be an experienced developer with a solid Java background, who are used to work in a Linux environment. You should have experience writing testable code, unit- and integration tests. The team you will be joining is responsible for Kambi’s Java Middleware and Linux platform running on our retail sports betting terminals. The team is also developing hardware simulators, diagnostic tools and web clients, which gives opportunities to work in many different domains and technologies. Today the team consist of a group of 5 passionate developers, including 1 tester and the team in located in Kambi’s Stockholm Office

Challenges for this team are to keep up with the ever increasing variety of terminal hardware and new customer requirements on terminal functionality and at the same time ensure quality and robustness. We strive to use the latest frameworks and methods and are constantly adapting our process according to agile DevOps principles.

The team works with a broad variety of technologies. It’s not a requirement that you have experience with all of these technologies, but rather see this as an opportunity of learning more once joining the team;

• USB and RS-232 serial protocols Jira
• Jenkins Intellij, Git, Bitbucket
• AWS, Kubernetes, Grafana
