System Engineer & Mission System Operator instructor for AEW&C

Your role

As a System Engineer you will be included in the systems engineering work, from system design to validation of the AEW&C products.

As a Mission Operator instructor, you are responsible for planning, preparing, implementing and evaluating courses for the customer's AEW operators.

An important part as a mission operator instructor is to continuously build and maintain customer satisfaction and relations.

Your working tasks will include:

Plan, prepare, execute and evaluate courses for the customer's AEW operators
*

Be in charge of one or more courses as a Trainer manager
*

Be a part of requirement and design process
*

Work closely with Human Factors specialists to design the users' interface
*

Plan, execute and report system validations based on requirements of usability and performance



Your profile

You have experience in C2 operations. You are a team player and a skilled communicator who thrives in a global and complex environment.

For this role it is important that you have:

The ability to handle customers and be a brand ambassador for Saab
*

The ability to create and maintain a professional relationship with the customer and have a cultural awareness
*

Operator experience from the ERIEYE Mission System, StriC or similar systems
*

A pedagogical approach and the ability to work with different personality types
*

The work requires that you can be away from home several times a year, approx. 1-3 weeks per training opportunity
*

Fluent English in speech and writing



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Product Unit (PU) Mission System has global responsibility for Saab's Airborne Early Warning and Command (AEW&C) Systems including other Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions. It has offices around the world, with the largest site being Gothenburg (SE). The PU has around 120 employees.
