System Engineer - Procure, based in Singapore

For one of or international clients we are now looking for a System Engineer based in Singapore. Our client has the ambition is to become a major and quality offshore drilling contractor.Qualifications: .Preferably degree within Logistics and/ or Project Administration, .Experience from Project Organized Industry, .Experience from the Procurement Department and, or as Package Engineer, .He/She is a Super User of Computerized tools in the Procurement Department..He/She would like to expand his/her experience into Drilling Machines, and Marine Systems for floating units, .Must like to work with figures and establish structured working procedures and forms.Job description: Systems and Working Tools: .Learn AMOS Procurement Module, .Develop links to the PO-register, .Develop links to Engineering and Construction for PO-plans, .Vendor Data Base, formats, updating and links..Logistics, system and access to external information Routines and Manuals: .Flow charts and procedures for Purchasing, .Formats for enquiries, remuneration formats and vendor evaluation Cost Figures and Estimating: .Data base for Actual Figures for major Equipments and Systems, .Variability between quantities, capacities and cost, .Yard rates, .Price development .Delivery time.Support to Senior Purchaser: .Learn the Drilling Machine, .Learn the major marine systems for floating unit..Vendor Evaluation .Prequalification of Vendors and Yards .Frame Agreements, .Minimize cost of transportation for Operation As a person you must be enterprising and also be able to develop your own Jobdescription and the Procurement Department within the frame work as outlined in the Jobdescription for the Positions.You also have to be able to move to Singapore for at least 2-3 years starting as soon as possible.Our client will be able to help with the living arrangements.Mark your application "Engineer Singapore".Selection and interviews will be held continuously.
