The Electric Drive Controls are building an innovated and robust SW platform for the next generation of hybrid and electrical vehicles. Our mission is to create a reliable, fast, and secure electric drive system to enable the next generation of state-of-the-art electric vehicles.
About you
The person we are looking for is flexible and enjoys changes as you will be working in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment. You are experienced within architecture and concept development, looking for a bigger challenge. As a person you apply innovative thinking to issues and analyses qualitative and quantitative research data.
You are a self-starter with a pioneering spirit; resourceful and able to take ownership quickly and reliably. You have an ability to lead through people, listen and coach and you are energetic and truly motivated by creating new solutions together with the cross-functional team. To be successful in this role a complete system understanding of Electric Propulsion is needed such as specific knowledge about Electric machines, inverters, and SW Deployment.
* M.Sc. or equivalent technical experience
* Experienced in Product Development with focus on architecture and concept
* Documented leadership qualities and experiences
* Swedish Driving License B

What you will do
As a System Engineer you will lead the early phase program development within the Electric Drive organization. You will take on the responsibility to drive the technology used internally and externally by capturing relevant technology and business for program introductions. You will work with technology roadmaps and lead strategic discussions.
You are expected to have a tech-business vision and to continuously drive to strengthen our products. You will work close with system architects and development teams in defining the systems, functions, modules/interfaces, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate alternatives within the solution context.
You will Initiate and lead incoming programs to the Electric Drive Controls ART. You will be aligning the way of working within the team to support the deliveries towards the ART in the PI planning and aligning processes and the way of working between the development teams.
