Are you an engineer with passion for electronics, technology in general and product development? Then this role might be what you are looking for. You will have the opportunity to work with interesting products and highly skilled colleagues at our department Product & Innovation. You will have a central function and make sure that various customer needs are met in the best possible way. That means your responsibilities will be to define how to convert the customer needs to requirements and solutions. Most of your time will be spent on conceptual work and designing the next generation MilDef product. There will also be time to focus on new technology and new innovations. You will play an important part in defining the end-product and looking at which components to use. You will also support the R&D project teams throughout the implementation phase, hand help us to make sure that our products or systems exceed the customer's expectations.
MilDef's product portfolio consists of extremely durable computers, special electronics and network products for military use, and our customers are therefore found exclusively in the defense sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Do the conceptual design on new MilDef products
- Look into new technology and be part of the MilDef innovation team
- To work with development of our existing product portfolio together with product owners, both by refining existing products but also by developing completely new products
- Co-work and collaborate with other disciplines in the projects
WHO YOU ARE TODAY

To succeed in this role, you need to be a self-motivator and driver with a getting it done mentality. Furthermore, you understand the importance of keeping deadlines and delivering on time with quality. We work in a high pace environment and it is therefore crucial being able to set and keep timing targets while having an ability to easily adapt to new conditions.
We expect you to have an academic degree and solid technical competence in computer products, network equipment and/or computer systems. You should have at least some years of experience in electronics and find is easy to familiarize yourself with and understand new technology. To thrive in the role, we believe that you enjoy working with many different tasks in parallel. Since you will interact a lot with both internal and external stakeholders, we expect you to have a great ability to collaborate and communicate, to be able to achieve the best results at the right time. It is important that you have good knowledge in English, which is our corporate language. Knowledge in Swedish is highly meritorious.
