System engineer to Siemens Energy in Finspång

Job description
Randstad are hiring system engineers with knowledge and interest in lube oil systems or gas fuel systems for our client Siemens Energy in Finspång. As a system engineer you will work in order projects to adapt standard system design to meet the project requirements. You will be responsible for the complete scope of work for your system in cooperation with electrical and installation engineers. The work entails participating in multiple internal project teams simultaneously and working closely with both purchasers, suppliers, and engineers with other roles within the project team to find a design solution for the specific project following a strict time schedule

Responsibilities
The work as a system engineer within lube oil system or gas fuel system will mainly be carried out in Siemens Energy’s engineering database Comos with document management in Teamcenter.


main tasks:
take responsibility for the lube oil/gas fuel system design in order projects
create customer documentation, such as process diagrams, system descriptions and lists of components, according to project schedule
create purchase specifications communicate project requirements to our suppliers
support site team if issue occurs for lube oil/gas fuel systems during site installation and commissioning
solve fault reports within our team system responsibility


Working hours
This is a fulltime consultant assignment and majority of time will hopefully be done on site at our client’s office in Finspång. Remote work is applied until further notice due to current Covid-19 restrictions. Assignment will start as soon as possible after agreement and goes on approximately 10 months with good chances for extension. 

Qualifications
We see you as a team player with a positive attitude who is interested in technical challenges and like problem solving.  


You do have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or technical upper secondary school with experience of working with lube oil or gas fuel systems


Other important qualities: 
you can express yourself well in speech and writing in English, other language/s is an advantage
you have good interpersonal and communication skills
if you have previous experience with Comos and Teamcenter this is an advantage
