System Engineer to Ventyx

communications companies, including network management, customer care,energy analytics, energy operations, energy trading & risk management, mobile workforce management, asset management and smart grids. The Västerås unit
has 160 employees and is responsible for marketing, sales, engineering,development, delivery and commissioning of products for monitoring and control of power systems.
Task:
Network Managment is a Ventyx solution for control and monitoring of power grids. The system covers a broad spectrum of functions and is used by customers all over the world. Within Ventyx?s growing business you will be part of the team with responsibility for installation, configuration and verification of the software in our delivery projects. Parts of the work will be performed at our office and in our test room in Västerås, but you will also participate in the commissioning at our customer sites. This means that you will have frequent customer contact and get the opportunity to travel to exciting sites in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Your work will also include responsibility for corrections and upgrades of the system, as well as to train the customers in how the system works. The position gives you the opportunity to broaden your competence in IT and safety critical systems. Requirements:
In this position, your motivation to learn new things and grow professionally will be one of your main assets. You also need to be open to new solutions and responsive to our customers? needs. As a foundation, you probably have a Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering or equivalent, combined with experience from software installation and configuration. You know what it takes to perform system configuration and parameterization of Linux and Windows. Familiarity with Oracle and relational databases is an advantage. It is also a plus if you have experience of Active Directory, script programming as well as SCADA and DMS systems. As system engineer with us you will become an important representative towards customers and partners, which requires high social skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner. You are fluent in written and spoken English and preferably also in Swedish. Moreover, you take a lot of responsibility for your projects and work just as structured and engaged in teams as you do on your own.
