Computing Architecture is responsible for the in-vehicle electrical architecture design including topology, function allocation, vehicle mode management, signal database and network management. Currently we are around 26 people in the Computing Architecture department.
In general Vehicle Mode Management (VMM) determines the vehicle usage mode, life cycle, regulates the energy balance and controls current consumption. When introducing Autonomous Drive (AD) in vehicles VMM complexity multiplies dramatically.
You will support Geely group electrical platform and future platforms.
As our System Engineer you will be a part of Vehicle Mode Management team at CEVT and support Geely group electrical platform and future platforms.
You will join a team that are dedicated to design, innovation and technology.
Based on Lindholmen, Gothenburg you will work with members that are, just like you, proud of their professionalism, motivation and level of skills.
This is what you will do most of the time:
- Propose and implement improvements of current VMM specifications and start function specifications.
- Act as an ambassador to strengthen the Electrical Engineering community’s understanding of VMM and AD related functionality.
- Support Function and Component owners including suppliers to understand VMM requirement.
- Support VMM requirement distribution and “handshaking”.
- Continuously follow up the VMM implementation status of all ECUs.
- Support rig and in-vehicle verification and follow up on VMM validation results (device tests, rig tests and complete vehicle tests).
- Support VMM related FMEA & System Safety work.
We think that you are experienced in:
- Automotive electrical system development.
- SW development
- Power Supply & Current consumption.
- VMM.
- Systemweaver / Carweaver / SETool.
- SPA2/GPA
Who You Are:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. engineer and documented experience from automotive industry.
- You are curious, care about people around you, and get things done in an ever-changing environment
- Self-going and able to take initiatives
- You have a drive to continuously learn and are flexible to broaden your experience.
- A true teamplayer with culture awareness, especially Asian - Europe culture.
