Powertrain Control Systems develops control systems for engines and powertrains for the different products of the Volvo Group.This includes electric hardware design of control units, sensors, and harnesses, as well as software development and optimization.The department consists of about 150 people in ten groups.This position belongs to department 91534 - Software Engineering within Powertrain Control Systems, Product Development, Volvo Powertrain Sweden, located in Gothenburg. The group Software Engineering is responsible for the development of software platforms for engine and transmission management systems.This includes hardware drivers and control algorithms for electronic hardware control.The group also have a responsibility for configuration management, methods and tool support for the department's software development.This development is performed with modern tools and processes with a high level of automated code generation.We are currently seeking for new colleagues who want to take an active part in the development of Volvo Powertrain control systems.
