Overall 7+ years in IT Infrastructure experience with minimum 5+ years in Azure/Cloud Platform.
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you'll be part of a skilled team responsible for the Security, Availability, Performance, Compliance, and Cost of cloud services. you'll help build autonomy into our products, tools, and environments to do Operations.
As a member of the Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team, you will be engaged in projects that provide foundational value across all cloud productionFull Job Description Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Design, DevOps and Product Security teams to understand requirements for software development in a Scaled Agile environment. Design alongside a team of engineers focusing on 'design first' thinking while incorporating different end user personas.
Participate in all phases in a Scaled Agile Environment: from new feature design/implementation, to production deployment & maintenance.
Proficiency in one or more cloud providers preferably Azure or in large-scale SaaS on any platform.
Be a beacon of excellence in availability, scalability, security, performance and cost for cloud services Become proficient in technologies and subjects quickly and effectively Drive projects/technical initiatives and architectural/technical service improvements through to completion Evangelize best practices in library usage and end-to-end architecture
Work with the development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud native architectural principles Identify and address patterns in infrastructure and applications that can be solved with a common solution
Have proficiency in developing cloud services or strong technical skills in cloud infrastructure Like looking through metrics and logs as if it were a treasure hunt Avoid logging into servers directly and prefer automation and aggregation for management Strive to be a responsible enabler rather than a "gate" Enjoy working with a large variety of services and technologies
Consider yourself just lazy enough to build tooling to perform redundant tasks rather than performing a series of manual tasks Enjoy pushing scalability to the limit with high throughput services Strive towards implementation and iteration rather than over-analyzing a problem. experience working in enterprise architecture and design across multiple IT functional areas involving hybrid cloud deployments. Develop blueprints for a secure and adoptable multi-tenant cloud framework including custom governance, security, identity management and operational controls.
Advanced Skills Relative to: Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and setting up their integration with each other along with On-Prem (VMware\ESXi). Basic cloud networking skills (Basic understanding of Azure Networking Vnets, VPC's, Subnets, Peerings) - Be proficient in one or more cloud providers, including Azure. Knowledge of configuration management and orchestration technologies Direct experience of enterprise solution shaping and Microsoft Azure Cloud deployment architecture development including excellent documentation skills Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking, and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services.
Experienced in the design and delivery of enterprise-level Highly Available solutions.
Knowledge of PowerShell, Source Control, ARM templates, JSON, Bash and deployment automation.



Good to have knowledge on: Cloud Infrastructure Design Patterns on Microsoft Azure.
